Love these shoes!

I love these shoes.

Ella has almost out grown them.

It's hurting inside a little.

Most things I can part with.

But not these.

Maybe one day I will.

So when it happens,

 I will almost have this every cute photo!

Santas Magic Key

Zac is almost 4.

He has been asking how Santa will get inside the house.

We don't have a chimney.

So how will he??

I saw the idea at a party shop.
I goggled poems & found this,
I added the last paragraph.

Dear Santa,

We don’t have a chimney and

I was worried as could be

About how you’d bring the

Presents to my family and  me.

But now I’ve solved the problem

And I’m not sad anymore,

For hanging from this ribbon

Is the key to our front door.

Use this Magic Key,

But only for one night.

It will open up my door.

Then just follow the bright light.

My tree will be shinning,

You will be sure to see.

Materials;
poem
A Santa Gift Tag
ribbon
Scissors
Glue
A key
Cardboard
Lamanator - optional
Hole Punch

Cut it all out & paste together.
Use the Lamantor if you like.

Punch a hole in the corner.
Thread the ribbon through the key, then the poem & tie off.


DONE

Now we know how Santa is getting into our house!

Teachers Christmas Gift

Remember I made the Rainbow Cookie Jars for Ella's Rainbow Party??

Well, I change the m&m's to Red & Green and we now have 

Christmas Cookies for the Day Care Teacher's Gift.

I made the labels through picnik

Here are the ingredients & layer's. 

I originally found the idea from Bakerella

Reindeer Food!

I found some free printables 

 from  tom kat studio

Materials:

The free printable

Cardboard

Glue

Ribbon

Clear bags

Oats

Sprinkles - Red & Green

I printed the image on plain printing paper,
cut out.
Stuck it onto cardboard

Hole punched in the corner

Poured Oats the in

My assistant pored the sprinkles in with concentration. 
  

Threaded with ribbon & tired around the bag.

You can make them well ahead of time, because hopefully no one is is going to be eating it.

Oh, apart from the Reindeer's!!!

Christmas Angel Wings

My aunty gave me this idea, well it was for her house, 

so I stole it & run with it.

With my little munchinks around, I totally can't leave presents under the tree.

There's no concept that we give present to other people as well & it's not all about them! We are working on it..

So I made the angel wings 

and I have started to place the presents on the dinning table.

Surprising they haven't touched them....yet!

Each little bird "Love", "Joy"  & "Peace"

The candles underneath mirror that as well.

This is how I made the wings:

Freehand draw a wing, cut out, flipped over & traced the 2nd wing.

Covered both wings with plain white computer paper ( don't need to be neat)

Just don't want the brown cardboard showing through.

Then start to hot glue the feathers on.

I started going around the outside, then worked my way into the middle.

My feathers were already trimmed at the peak, & looked yucky, so I cleaned them up.

I turned the wings over. Tapped them together.

 Hot glued the ribbon for hanging.

Used a temporarily hook

And hang up.

DONE

I love it!

It's pretty, different & can can use it next year!

Rainbow Invitations - Rainbow Party

It's really hard to find cute Rainbow Invites that you don't have to pay for.

I was sort of over the photo print outs, so I made these;

Cut each colour of the rainbow out of cardboard paper

Wasn't quite sure which way to stick the ribbon on.

 Decided on across, a no brainer really!! Rainbow's go across! 

 I used doubled sided tape to stick the ribbon down

 Once stuck down, then use really Sharpe scissors and trim the excess off.

 Double side sticky tape the back of invite down onto cardboard.

 Then make another 30!!

I handed these out to the adults as Thank You Gifts

Tiny Teddy Cars - Rainbow Party

The Kids Love These!

So easy to make, here's how;

You need:

M&M's

Tiny Teddy's

Mini Milky Way's

Icing

Food colour - optional

1. Make a small cut in the milky way, but make sure you hold the two ends of the bar, otherwise it will split in half.

2. Carefully push the teddy in place.

3. Mix up some icing

4. Lay on side

5. Place icing on m&m

6. Let dry completely, until you turn & do other side, or they slip off.

DONE

A cute & easy party favourite.

You can make the day before & store in an airtight container!
